Ponmudi - The Golden Peak of Kerala

The hill station, Ponmudi lies at an altitude of 1100m and is situated in the Thiruvananthapuram district of Kerala.  The famed Western ghats run parallel to the Arabian sea - Ponmudi is an integral part of this.  Avidly blessed with natural and scenic splendor, Ponmudi is covered with a carpet of thick and lush Tropical forests.  The prevalence of an attractive weather throughout is also an added attraction for tourists who visit this hill station.
Golden valley forms an integral part of this golden peak boasting of numerous rivulets and wildlife inhabitants.  Peppara wildlife sanctuary is another inviting factor.
