The hill station, Ponmudi lies at an altitude of 1100m and is situated in the Thiruvananthapuram district of Kerala. The famed Western ghats run parallel to the Arabian sea - Ponmudi is an integral part of this. Avidly blessed with natural and scenic splendor, Ponmudi is covered with a carpet of thick and lush Tropical forests.
